Current Requirements to join:   

Plumbers need: 

1)  A State of Alaska Certificate of Fitness to work in the state; a Municipality of Anchorage Certificate of Fitness to work within the Municipality of Anchorage (Most of the work occurs within the Municipality).

2)  To pay $200.00 initiation fee, 1(One) months dues of $34.75, and payment into the death benefit fund of $20.00.   Total of $254.75

3)   A current CPR/First-Aid Card.

Please note: Local 367 will be implementing an examination for all Plumbers that will include physical and written tests.

Welders and Pipefitters are required to:

1)  Provide documentation to prove at least five years experience (ex: A letter with company letterhead stating actual pipe-fitting or pipe-welding experience).

2) To be put on the Pipefitter list, take a Pipefitter exam (at no charge). To be put on the Welders List, current welding certification is required. This is provided through our instructors at no cost to members.

3) Have a current CPR/First-Aid Card
